These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zurf ("we," "our," "the Zurf service"). By using Zurf, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance

By creating a Zurf account or using the Zurf app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The Zurf service

Zurf is a personal AI memory service that lets you save private content — notes, links, images, and documents — and find it again, including through Ask, which answers your questions grounded in your own saved content.

Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your Zurf account and for all activity that happens under it. Let us know at support@zurf.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you save to Zurf — your notes, links, images, documents, and anything else you add. We do not claim ownership over your content.

By saving content to Zurf, you grant us only the limited rights we need to host, store, process, analyze, retrieve, and display that content back to you, solely to provide you the Zurf service. We do not use your content for purposes beyond providing the service to you, and we do not use it to train our own AI models.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Zurf to:

do anything unlawful,
abuse, harass, or harm others,
act maliciously toward the service or other users, for example by attempting to disrupt, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to it,
infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of others.

AI-generated information

Zurf uses AI to generate summaries, interpretations, and Ask answers based on your saved content. These outputs may sometimes be incomplete or inaccurate. Please verify anything important against your original saved content before relying on it.

Zurf is not a substitute for professional advice. Ask answers and AI-generated summaries should not be treated as medical, legal, or financial advice.

Availability and changes

We may update, change, or temporarily interrupt Zurf as we continue to build and improve it. We'll try to minimize disruption, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Account termination and deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app. We may also suspend or restrict access to Zurf for accounts we determine, in good faith, are being used abusively or unlawfully.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including account export, account deletion, and backup retention. It's part of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Zurf product, software, and branding belong to us. Your content, as described above, belongs to you.

Warranty and liability

Zurf is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Zurf.
